Of recently available, and not so recent, smaller engines l thought appropriate as branch and short-line steamers, are the Weaver Baldwin 2-8-0 and the Williams 4-6-0.  If these were successful, they have been running on layouts for quite a while. Have you had good service running these for some time, or not?
