Help anyone?? Need 12" or less wheelbase due to grade/curve. L/C NW2 lists 2 motors in bullet points
but when I contacted them they said it was single motored.

The NW-2 has only one motor and says so in the catalog. I own the B&O switcher and it runs just fine with a single motor. After all, it is a switcher.
I know the NW-2 has a single motor because I have one. However, both the catalog and the Lionel website both state "dual maintenance-free motors".
