SHOW US PICTURES OF REAL TRAINS PASSING THROUGH WHERE YOU LIVE THANKS
Any information as to where and when those 9 photos were taken?
It certainly tried to pass through....
When I saw the thread title, this is what I thought of, so I googled "train crashes into house."

OK but, just where is "Hutto and Taylor"?
765 on its initial test run after its rebuild a couple of years ago. Picture was taken in Convoy, Ohio on the former PRR Ft. Wayne Line. They ran from Ft. Wayne to Van Wert, Ohio on a Saturday and Sunday,(Sorry, I can't remember the exact dates)

Here's a link to my photos on Railpictures. Enjoy.
Dang! Nobody lives near Durango, Chama, or....well, I know somebody on here lives
close to Cass?
This is .2 miles or a 3 minute walk from my house. Sadly the signal bridge was taken down this last fall by CSX.
A more recent photo from about the same location.
Here are a bunch of photos of mine, most of them are local to me: http://www.railroadforums.com/...=500&ppuser=4329

I'd suggest that anyone living near there doesn't need to model much if they have that nearby.
I finally got to the area in 2012, in my quest to see every narrow gauge RR in the US (which I'm very close now). Chama is everything people say it is. If you turn your back to the main road, and don't have the parking lot in your view, you're pretty much looking back into the mid 50s!
Taken on a summer afternoon while my wife was down the street at the new supermarket...

That's an odd consist. I wonder what the occasion was?
Well, it may be from some years back, but the Rock Island Line just west of St. Louis was the nearest railroad to me. I built a Heath Kit scanner so I could hear the daily CRIP train into St. Louis get his orders over the radio, that way I knew about when it would hit Vigus, MO area. Then I would ride my bike some 4 miles to get track side.
That was back in 1970 or so and the camera was a Kodak 126 instamatic.
This image is from March 22, 1977. Train 73 heading for Kansas City form a 35MM negative.

There has to be an Amazing Story behind this photo.
As for the thread, these were taking out in Redlands fairly close to my house. The milling company was closed and torn down a few years ago and this section of the Redlands loop is now abandoned. As this is the Real Trains forum I will not put on my uniform of the self-appointed Information Minister of the Isle of Denial.
