It's a  blue Chinese Christmas turkey!  

No pics yet but I got an MTH 44 toner in LIRR with assorted matching LIRR cars.  I’m loving this little thing. It operates well, has great detail, and  incredible sounds.  You know your wife loves you when she surprises you with something like this!

My wife finished off my Colorado themed Atlas reefer collection! Two Nuckolls Packing reefers. The yellow and brown one is 2-rail, but seems to be performing flawlessly so far around the layout. Felt like I was 12 years ago when I opened them up.

Finally got my dummy A unit.

Well, I got a toilet seat, 3 fire extinguishers, an “I play with Trains” license plate cover, and peanut brittle.  Glad to get the fire extinguishers and needed toilet seat.  Probably won’t use the license plate cover.  Don’t need 2 pounds of brittle.  You

This was my 'early' Christmas present received a month or so ago. Actually the only 'new' locomotive I've purchased in years and was tempted beyond what I could bear by Mr Muffin's color photo posted when these first came out. His "only 3 left" pushed me to buy so I wouldn't get left out!  :-)

The latest addition to the Christmas Train

My train present didn't quite make it under the tree this year. Santa's helper, Joseph Fauty (Model Structures) is busy finishing up the final details. 

My wife has a good sense of humor so I scored a sweet trailer home and a shirtless dude drinking to go with it!!

It was early, a surprise. MTH PS-3 One Gauge Norfolk Southern ABA with the 5 Passenger cars.

Three pack of the recent Gla hoppers from Lionel and a matching wood sided caboose for my Lionel Legacy Conrail SD40.

And a copy of TM’s new 21st Century Great Layout DVD. My parents are just wonderful people.

Oh yes, and a new sweater, iTunes card and cat calendar.

Legacy R27 Subway Set 

I've got to get something train related or it just does not feel like Christmas

mom got me a custom made train room sign. The rest was much needed clothes and other stuff needed. Which means I can spend that money on train stuff

I got one GATX tank car and two Boxcars.

Was fortunate to get this 30 year old Williams brass PRR L1.  Looks pretty clean and will be a candidate for a cruise commander along withmy two Willams PRR K4's.

100 ton coal tower. This one is made of BALSA WOOD.  I looked up one like this by Golden Gate Depot, and although it’s similar, the GGD model is made of plastic.  This one is wood and has a nice texture to it. Sweet Christmas present but I haven’t figured out the make. Anyone know?

A Pride Lines train station from my mom and a custom Lionel train sign from my brother.

I would appreciate any expertise on the badge. Is it authentic or a total fake? Anyway, a very thoughtful stocking stuffer from my nephew.  The "train guy" in the family always gets gifts like this, eh?

I received a bump-n-go trolley from my secret santa who happened to be my best friend.  I also received my 1st Lionel 89' boxcar.  I must say that Lionel has really done a great job with this car.  Can't wait to purchase my 2nd on Saturday.

Did not get much train related but my grandparents gave me a vintage Strasburg RailRoad mug. Have not been there in years. Long over do vist there is in order.

I got the 2016 top 5 (skipping Lewis's Mercedes) F1 cars and a set of 4 Menards BNSF flat cars! I'll need to pick up some black chains to tie the cars down, but I may just borrow some of the wife's black elastic hair ties for the time being :-D

The wife put down a deposit on the MTH Premier CSX ES44DC at Legacy Station so that'll be a late arrival :-D

My Grandma Got me this too. 

Wife got:  new Bachmann 0n30 derrick car (WP&Y).

Older son got:  Lionel Scale NYC caboose and two K-Line heavyweight coaches (to go with his Hudson)

Younger son got:  Lionel Strasburg Gon w/3 vats and 3-D tank car + PE Diner, Hobo Car, and Baggage.

Got the 2017 new Lionel Merry Christmas Box Car and a 400E Hallmark Keepsake Ornament, from my wife, ordered the Refrigerator Box Car Ornament myself after seeing it here on the OGR.

Thom is gifting me the Hallmark Blue 400E Tender Ornament to go with my Engine, when ever we have time to have Breakfast together during the Christmas season.

Really wasn’t expecting any gifts this year, let alone train stuff, so this was a surprise. I don’t run HO anymore, but I have held onto some of my old stuff, including the Mantua Super Bowl Express  my wife gave me almost 20 years ago. I have an Eagles car with the current logo, but she found me an older model, with the good logo.

I see a Lotus Europa too!!!  My brother in law was a Lotus guy. Had the Ford Powered JPS edition. Cool little car but power windows blew out daily....small fiberglass car with no windows or A/C....not fun!

For some reason, I have always kind of liked the Europa. Can’t really explain it, as I don’t know a ton about them, but I have just always been drawn to them. If I see a toy Europa, I grab it.

nice!  Is that flat car customized to carry that trolley, or was it part of a set?  I very much like the MTH auto carriers and it would be need to have several flats with trolley loads.

The flat car is customized to carry my corgi MCI  bus.  I only used chopsticks to customize the flat car.  I placed the trolley on the flat car for the picture. I agree that it would be neat to have several flats with trolley loads.  I plan to purchase some plastic septa buses along with flat cars to carry them.
