This three car passenger set was recommended, and I have posed one of the cars with my Ives station and the Lionel whistle station, a RailKing double RR crossing light, and a few vintage Barclays folks. Most of the figures are in need of a someday repaint, but for now they look very charming. My dd helped me out by taking these pics. The Pullman and the matching Obs will be running around the wedding cake. The bride and groom

Carey,

Great stuff,  where did you pick up the WWI Soldier leading the Shepard dog, I have been looking for one.  I would definitely do some restoration work on the lead figures, they will be fantastic, when repainted.  The little village display is seriously cool!

Great job!

My Tom has a very large collection of the WWI figures, most inherited from his 84yo mother who played with them as a child. Others he found on the evilBay. I have three that I picked for my Std. Gauge layout, one being the piece with the Shepard.

Fun to put the all the little details together, hoping to add one more key piece for this display by the end of the month.

Steamer,

Thanks  Dave, if you ever get back up to that Antique dealer, please pick up his card and post it here for me.  I will then give him a call, would definitely like to see some pictures of what he has, and the prices.

Dave unfortunately that mall closed several years ago, but if I ever come across another dealer selling these figures, I'll certainly get their info for you.
