We have installed some signals on the Stockyard Express Central Railroad. In this video you will see a DZ-1040 Semaphore Lower Quadrant signal from Z-Stuff and a 30-11009 O Scale Cantilevered Signal Bridge from MTH which is being activated by the DZ-1070 Sensor. All are currently available along with many other signals at Stockyard Express.

Great video!
Hey...is that a custom NKP MTH Trackside Yard Tower in background? Do you happen to sell those?
Nice. Question...are you using just a single sensor to control the dual track overhead signals?
Rick
Nicely done.
We have one of the MTH Cantilever signals. You can set them up "Green High" by removing the small screw on the signal head, removing the cover, and flipping the LED grid. For some reason MTH set them up like Highway traffic signals. Another thing to watch out for is that double-stacks won't clear the signal bridge. I elevated ours on a small 3/4" block of wood.
Nice video. Question, can the DZ-1070 sensors be used to trigger relays to control track power?

Yes we have two DZ-1070s controlling the cantilever signal.
Good call about raising it up if you are going to run stack trains! We rarely run them but when we do we regulate them to the outer line.
The tower you see in the background is an MTH 30-90006 Trackside Yard Tower that we placed a Nickel Plate Road decal on. As of this time we do have custom Nickel Plate Road water towers available which you can learn more about at this link http://stockyardexpressllc.com...oad-193-water-tower/
They sure add to any layout.

Very nice additions to the layout.
They really look good. I have a question.
I noticed that when the train comes toward the camera on the outer line the semaphore signal remains green until the engine passes the signal. On the prototype, a signal will go red as soon as train enters the block beyond the signal regardless of the direction of travel.
Can the signal be set up so that when a train enters the block beyond the signal the signal goes red and stays red as long as the train is in the block regardless of whether the train is moving or not?
