I just received  a set of these signals 3 over two (see slink below) i am trying to wire them so that they display Green Over Red but for some reason I am not able to have the green led on top be on at the same time the bottom red led is on. I am able to have it be green over green and yellow over red? I can't figure this one out..???

These signals are made in China and come with no paper work or wiring diagrams. From what i can see is that they tied all of the commons together leaving one wire for each LED so  in my case I have five wires one for each LED and they are color coded to match the color of the bulb. I am able to light each bulb individually.

One of the LED's takes more power than the other, not enough that you can see or notice it without a really accurate digital multi meter.  So, when you hook them both up, the electrical current takes the path of least resistance, and thats the one that lights up.  The higher resistance LED stays dark.  A really sensitive meter could measure the resistance and you could figure the differance between the red and green, then add an extra resisitor to balance the load so they both light up.  I am sure someone here is an electrical engineer and can chime in further.   Mike
