Erik looks great another fantastic model! i worked at  Sinclair station in Chicago and the owner made us keep it almost as clean as your model. thanks for sharing this brings back old memories. all that is missing is my dusk blue 69 Nickey Camaro sitting under the Sinclair sign.I still have the Sinclair signs off the pumps when we turned into an Arco station.

Great modeling. I remember when that exact station, except the bays were on the left, and office on right, was being built in our town. The closed gas station sits across the street from my sisters house now, used car lot. Spent many hours there, the owner became a great long time friend. All I can say is WOW!, and thanks for memories of a period long ago.

Forgot to add, outside, by door to office were 2 penny machines, one peanuts, the other gumballs.

Erik not to hijack the thread but to answer the question.

HUDSON J1E a Nickey Camaro was like a Yenko or Baldwin Motion where the dealer installed a 427 engine. Nickey Chevrolet was a dealer in Chicago that built extreme muscle cars per customer request. Nickey would take a SS350 Camaro and install a 427 usually 425 HP. My car was a 427 L88 12.5 to1 compression with a Muncie M22 4 speed and a 5:13 12 bolt service package rear end. i had Larry Buetleman the engine builder for the Chi Town Hustler funny car build the aluminum heads. it conservatively got 3.5MPG with the 1050cfm Holley 3 barrel carb. still have the car with 31000 miles mostly in 1/4 increments. hope that answers your question.

Thank you Matt it is a 1940's era Berkshire Valley Service Station kit #818 and interior detail kit. I did spend a great deal of time finishing; but for the most part it's a shake the box kit thrown together and a Krylon paint job.
