This past Monday which was Labor Day, I got word about CSX Grain Train G107 from Cicero IL bound for Albany NY lead by BNSF H1 C44-9W #995, so I ventured up to Lake County Ohio and saw it. Those are becoming very rare to see lead any train in Ohio. But before that Grain Train arrived, came a LORAM. He definitely had to do the Sirens because I was standing their. I HAD NO CLUE THE LORAM WAS COMING. Very nice surprise.
Nice catch Tom. The Loram grinders are cool. That twin unit usually follows a longer train that does most of the grinding. Guess it had gone through before you arrived.
