By necessity of not going underneath the layout, my DZ-2500 switch machines are all above the layout. Is anyone making any "trackside box" or scenic disguises for switch machines? It's a bit touchy because they are so close to the rails. Any products out there?

I posted this question a couple of months ago, regarding covering the Lionel O gauge switch boxes. Best suggestion was that Plasticville sells a small, HO, work-shack, that just happens to fit right overtop of the switch motor cover. They look great. You may want to check that out.

You are going to have a lot of these on your layout so may want to think about electrical boxes -
Love my postwar 022 switches even though they take up real estate. So i used some postwar ingeuinity.
Make your own. Tie piles, stacks of rail, electrical boxes, rocks and hills, maintenance vehicles and work sites, small trackside buildings, small retaining walls, abandoned concrete building foundations, crossing roads, and a world of other things.
