As has been brought up on another thread:  https://ogrforum.com/t...nnati-union-terminal , Mr. Heike is planning a model of Cincinnati Union Terminal, which will no doubt be absolutely magnificent.

On this thread, perhaps we can throw ideas together for the smaller architectural gems that manufacturers or scratchbuilders might want to take a kick at for those with more limited layout real estate.

 For example, the Mission-design section of LA Union Station is well-known. Maybe forumites have their small favorites. Compression is likely in any case for models, but the architecture will always stand out.

I previously posted/suggested South Bend Union Station, designed by the C.U.T architects Fellheimer and Wagner: also below is another F&W-designed beauty, Greensboro Amtrak station. Maybe it's even kit-bashable........

In Mobile, Gulf, Mobile and Ohio "Gulf Terminal Building", on Beauregard Street; built 1906 - 07;

originally Mobile Union Station (Southern/M&O/AT&N). Now owned by the City and is

used as office space.

As restored:

Early 1960's (1963 seems to be the newest automobile; note - no pickup trucks, no minivans and only 1 "SUV" - the Jeep to the right, behind the Chrysler and the Ford;

there seems to be a Triumph TR-4 present):
