Smaller 3 Rail electro operating coupler? MTH has operating H.O. couplers. I guess 3 Rail could be made smaller.

That's exactly why I have up-graded all my locomotives and cars to Kadee O-Scale couplers. They may not be "electro-couplers", but then you didn't state that anyway, however they do indeed OPERATE extremely well.

You are right Jack. I should have specified "electro couplers". Will edit my post.
Didn't Atlas have operating scale sized couplers a few years ago?

Yes. They were quite small, but they were "electrocouplers", found on 2-rail locos, as I recall. I had a 2-rail GM&O GP35 with TMCC (yes) for a while (was leaning that way some years ago, but all those beautiful 3RO steamers pulled me back). Never used it; sold it.
MTH said they were going to make them years ago, they even had pictures. Then nothing. Never heard anything about them again. I think it would be a great idea. Don
