If your concerned i would take the engine apart and take the top off of of the smoke unit and see how saturated the unit is  flooded with excessive fluid .you don't want to fluid flow over the top of the smoke unit top if it's leaked under the top and threw the gasket you'll need to dry everything out and start over. if the wick is to saturated with fluid the heat element will become to wet and not be able to smoke at all the fluid at this point would prevent the wick from getting hot enough to make the wick smoke. if you have a spare wick you might want to replace it!
