I was planning to install a lionel fan driven smoke unit in a k line diner i have.  I was going to use 610-8057-200 part # . I believe it can be hooked direct to AC voltage. Is that correct?

My other question  is.  It has to be hooked up to a chimney  via a vinyl hose.   Is there some sort of connector/nipple that you can attach to the smoke unit to accept the hose?  It appears to only have a hole on the smoke unit board.

I'd run it on 10-11 VAC maximum, if you run it on any higher voltage, it'll smoke a lot but run through fluid very quickly.

For smoke units I use with no ferrule on the unit, I usually use JB-Weld to attach a brass tube of the size I need.  I size the hole to the exact friction fit of the tube, then JB-Weld it from the top.  For a Diner, I'd also probably consider dropping the fan speed down using a couple of series diodes between the fan motor and the board.  It'll look like you're cooking with a blast furnace at full fan speed.
