Great pleasure being able to go upstairs to trainroom and also come down with left wrist splint. BEST pleasure, however, is the SMOOTH running of my two standard gauge sets and my PIKO BR-24 2-6-0 G gauge loco. Video below:

Another plus is being able to safely, albeit slowly, come back down the stairs in our town home. :-)
Adaptabilty is essential, as mutability is constant in our universe.
Your Johnson rubber roadbed looks great with your standard gauge track! It's really shame that is out of production, and never available for wider radius curves.

Kirk: Thankfully, I have got a reserve supply (all 072) from the dismantling of my layout at my mountain home which we are selling. I have successfully fitted the 072 sections to an 084 oval, though with some gaps.
Hello Art,
What diameter are you using for your SG Track? You have such a nice simple setup.
Thanks,
Michael
Michael: Outer oval with 400E and state set is 072. Inner oval with 408E and 200 series freight cars is 042. All standard gauge track has Johnson roadbed. Total table area is 86" X 90". LGB middle oval is R2 (less than 6' diameter). Power for standard gauge is an MTH Z-4000. Power for LGB is a 0-30 volt, 0-3 amp lab quality DC power supply used with a PIKO throttle. Thank you for your interest! :-)
So much tinplate standard, Microbus and LGB circus magic. Thank you!
The Schleich animals and LGB circus figures add much to the scene!
