MTH's Rail King passenger cars are corrugated below the windows and have Santa Fe style domes. It seems many railroads used smooth sided passenger cars during the 50s - e.g., Union Pacific, Southern Pacific, Illinois Central, Pennsylvania, Great Northern. Where cars were corrugated, many were corrugated on the sides from top to bottom. Also, many railroads used the more rounded Budd style domes. Will we see MTH make some smooth sided cars with Budd style domes in the Rail King line? If not Rail King, will Lionel start a Lionmaster line of smooth sided semi scale passenger cars? There seems to be a missing part of a market here that needs supply!
