You have some nice photos in this bunch, Tom. You are using things other than the train, to add interest.  Keep up the good work.

I do have one suggestion:  Kill the date display.  The date will be in your metadata and you don't need it to distract the viewer's eye in the photo.

Excellent photos!  As Tom said, your composition is really good!  Of course all of us like the subject matter! Another plus for us in the Tri-State area (PA, OH, WV), we love the particular railroad too!

I like your title, "My Best Pictures of the Year".  It tells us you are happy with them, and rightly so!  But also, you are not comparing them with anyone else's, just your own!

I'm looking forward to seeing your photos that will exceed these!  I know you will!  If you haven't already, I think your work is good enough to put up for sale if you wish!

Thanks Mark & Tom. Yes I've thought about maybe someday selling a few of my photos here and there. Yes, that's why I put My Best Train Picture This Year So Far. I don't want to out do anybody, just for me it's my best so far. To actually tell you how this actually set up is, I was in this area visiting someone, and was pulling up towards the crossing and seen him backing up. So I knew he would come back forward across Petebone Road and parked across the road and got these pictures. I had no plan of seeing a train yesterday since there's only about 1 train a day works here. Also for my next pictures I'll get rid of the date in the bottom right. Thanks You Again.  Tom Jr.

Thanks Gary. I added the video from that day. It's at the top of this post. Thank You for the nice compliments about the Black & White Railroad Photography. That's why chose that format for some of my pictures because of how the jointed rail, the engines, and etc. make it look in the 50's & 60's. Cool how still today certain area's of railroading today still look back in those days. As a bonus, the last picture in the video was taken in Bedford where I thought the units would be coming through, but I got that picture and it looks way back then. If I chose Septia color, it would of made it in the 20's and 30's.
