AWESOME! Methinks I spotted that dark green MTH Proto 2.0 408E that you acquired from me some years ago pulling a freight consist. Hope it still operates well. I have the MTH traditional version in dark green also in freight service with several 200 series cars.

You've got sharp eyes, Art. Indeed that is the 408E I acquired from you a decade or more ago. It still runs just fine, but the headlight circuitry gave up a couple of years ago. I've just come across the maintenance agreement and lifetime warranty you provided me. Apparently it covers shipping costs, too, so it will be on its way back to you for repairs as soon as you send me the pick-up ticket . . .

How can a lighting circuit fail? Try changing the bulb. Unfortunately, my repair and warranty center went bankrupt several years ago and no longer exists. 😐
