Remember the Vision Line Rewards Membership Club? Somewhere back in 2009 this is what was advertised if you bought a Vision Line Engine.... "Big Discounts, Priority Service and All the Inside Scoop on upcoming Vision products." I think you even got a membership card. When I ordered my NYC Vision Line Hudson in 2010 I thought I would be part of this exclusive club (I did register my engine as soon as it arrived...which may have been in 2011 but still I can't help when they shipped it). Never got a card, inside scoop or any big discount that I can remember. So how bout it? Did anyone get anything from the Vision Line Rewards Membership Club?? BigRail

Perks? I get those when I buy a coffee percolator.
I'm pleased with all the Vision locos I bought because of the features, etc. Exclusive club? Membership card? I don't want to be their friend, just buy a good product, so I never even asked. I think maybe there is a special shop for repairs, etc., just for Vision stuff, but I have never had to in quire.
None that I know of,
Dave

I received nothing either. I bought a UP Genset I think around Thanksgiving 2010 (could have been 2011, but without my records in front of me I'm thinking 2 years has past).
I also registered it on line with all the information they asked for. Don't think I ever heard a thing back (though I might have gotten a simple confirmation of registration, I'd have to double check that).
I know my dealer had at least gotten a membership card (he showed it to me) when he bought a few of the Vision items for his personal collection, but he might have bought those earier in the program.
I know my registration was after the time when Lionel gave a free gift (book) to "club" members at York one meet. I do not think I had purchased my engine yet at that time (or if I did I had not yet registered it, so I was not eligible for the gift).

As far as I am concerned, my ATSF 3000 is enough reward in itself. I read all of the hype when the Vision Line was first announced, but never worried about a membership card or the other stuff.

Like everything else at times. When they were first announced just before York the perks did not hold up with their dealers. So Lionel did away with the rebates and the prices did go down before the end of that York. The rebates are still listed in the 2009 Vol. 1 catalog and the 2009 Vol. 2 has the reduced prices in them without the rebates.
