solid state relay

I am looking for a circuit diagram to build a solid state relay to replace the problematic relays in a post war Lionel whistle tender. I still want to be able to use the standard Lionel power transformers. Any help in this regard would be much appreciated!

Did you look on the ERR Website in the Hobby corner? Here's the schematic from there, they also have a downloadable file that you can use the artwork they have to create a PCB.
