Some Cabooses deserved to be modeled, this is one of them!

I believe that's one of the former New Haven cabooses which was rebuilt by Penn Central as its Class N8A.

I believe Atlas O did a similar caboose...the NE-6, even in the Conrail blues scheme. I have one and it's looks unusual for sure!

Apparently, NYC/PC was hung up on that style, where just the bay window itself extended out from the carbody.    Must've been hard on a guy's back, leaning right all that time.    I did find one in brass by River Raisin models.

In S scale, I should say.

John,  you are still welcome to switch back to O-Scale.  The King of all scales.  How is your product selection in S?

Can't afford O scale like you guys with big money.
I've found plenty to run and collect and with MTH coming in, their first S loco will be a SD70, which will be very nice!

I was not aware of that.  This may be a game changer for that neglected scale.
