Here are some shots of Les Lewis' traction layout that our club visited last week.

THE 6TH PICTURE IS THE GRAND UNION ON LES LAYOUT.THESE ARE FAIRLY RARE ON MODEL LAYOUTS. HIS BUILDINGS ARE REALLY DETAILED. A METICULOUS CRAFTSMAN.
This is the first layout I ever saw that qualifies as a master work. Incredible.
It was featured in an OGR cover article many years ago.
Yes! -- that modeling and layout work by Les Lewis is very excellent, and nicely detailed. The rail cars look great, and likewise the City Scenes ! Real Craftsman work !
Likewise, Check Out (LINKS BELOW) this modeling work also - O-Scale (all scale 2 RAIL) Traction and Rapid Transit huge layout via the entire selection of Photo-ALBUM SETS on this webpage. NOTE: Check the FIRST Album on the top left of page of the albums listed, which features short videos of the layout.
NOTE: Since Yahoo also took over FLICKR over a year or so ago, they really screwed up Flickr site's (just as they did to all Yahoo Groups with "NEO" format also!) smooth functioning on many browsers, with all their newly added NEO version techno crap fluff improvements. SO I provided more browser friendly and smoother functioning, less quirky and sluggish operating ALTERNATE LINKS via the FLICKRIVER server (not related to FLICKR)

The NEXT Album Set features O Scale NY & Phily area streetcars on a strictly trolley operation only large modular traction layout.

Don...fantastic work by Les. Thanks so much for posting these pictures. Les is a true craftsman in every sense of the word!
Alan
Joe....you and Les must be twins cut from the same cloth!! I have long admired your work. When I first saw both your's and Les' modeling, I thought I was looking at the real thing!
Alan
Hello Alan !
Thanks for stopping by and your comments ! I edited my further above post quite a few times just prior to writing this one, to put in links to an alternate webhost site for viewing my photos other than solely using the FLICKR SITE. Even with Windows 7, IE-11 and 15.0 bps FIOS Hi Speed ISP connection, FLICKR works clunky and sluggish even on all the other newest browser versions I have. I hope the links all work OK. Regards! - JF

What a great layout! I recognize many of the streetcars and buildings. That model of New Haven City Hill is an eye catcher!
