Beautiful layout, I think it shows how much a layout is made by the details. I have seen a lot of big layouts with really long track runs, intricate track plans, big yards, etc, yet when I looked at them was kind of bored, and I think it was the sparse detailing (and obviously, it doesn't mean that kind of layout is 'wrong', simply means it isn't my cup of tea). There is a huge commercial HO layout not that far from where I live in Northern NJ that when I visited it surprised me how much my wife and I didn't like it, it had all these stunning mountain vistas and a lot of track, but just didn't engage us.

In any event, a layout both to inspire and intimidate (and imitate!) *smile*, nice job.

Thank you for the nice words.  This is my first layout.  Layout is approximately 16ft long by 6ft wide. I attached a couple of additional photos.  Most of the buildings are scratch built or kits.  I'll have to learn how to take videos.  Layout was built on casters so I can move it around the basement.  Stay safe and well.100_1231100_1232100_1238100_1243

I’m in love with the chesty girl in the pink dress. Looks like an old girlfriend. What’s her name and #

She looks like a" lady of the evening". You can probably find her on "the wrong side of the tracks" , where it appears a few of the photos were taken. Lol!!!

Neat layout Greg! I enjoyed the photos!
