If no one guesses it, I will tell you the answer later.
In the meantime, share something on your layout, or in your collection, that puts a smile on your face.
Arnold
Another funny thing about the cop and hobo set up. The trestle that the cop and hobo jump off onto is just the right height so the horns on the giraffe in the giraffe car just barely clear the trestle by the slightest of margins. I wonder if Lionel was aware of that.
I will prove this to you later on with a photo or short video.
Alright Arnold - I've watched your video until my eyes hurt and I really don't see what's different or "not so different" about the two scenes.
The guys below are having a friendly dispute over the relative merits of Lionel vs. MTH...
OK Don, since you asked, I will provide the answer: the cop and hobo each have a broken leg. If you look closely, you can see the dried excess glue on the leg of each figure.
I bet it's not uncommon for a broken leg to happen because the trestle needs to be aligned correctly for this fun-filled accessory to work.
Thanks Arnold!
I wonder what the accident report would read?
Did the railroad have to pay Workers Comp for the two injuries as they happened on the job for the cop? Or did Arnold just pick up the tab?
Don't forget: Arnold's a lawyer. It was a Workman's Comp and a lack of Security measures for both of them.
Sorry, Arnold, I couldn't resist
Arnold they look like my knees! nice video
Sitka, that's hilarious.
Rick and Artyyoung, your replies made me laugh too.
Oh no, it's an emergency! There's a shortage of giraffes in Brooklyn!
No worries. Take a look at the video below:
That's the Lionel LC+2.0 BEDT (Brooklyn Eastern District Transit) switcher hauling giraffes from the Bronx Zoo back to Brooklyn.
What a great way to start the morning! Arnold
A dangerous game they played with both of them having surgery on each leg. I'll bet the sales were down on this one as it took a real hit.
