I noticed on the Genset when it's moving and you press one of the speed steps there is no announcement from the dispatcher telling the engineer what speed to go to? It goes to the next speed step fine and you can hear the rev sounds respond but no announcement. I'm guessing it's because it's a switcher and not really a road diesel. OR; there is something wrong? Thanks guy's.

I have one and have never heard the dispatcher tell it to speed up, so I'd say your fine. Its one of the neater sound sets that have been done, with the gensets kicking in and cutting out, and sleep mode.
I agree; The sound file on it is cool. No speed announcement is fine just wondering if it was normal. Thank you.
THat is normal--there's no speed-related dialog on switchers.
Love the genset, the individual engines turning on and off and the smoke staging up is really cool. If they had better flapper valves it would be perfect. 
Mine doesn't say anything on speed changes either.
Genset was released before the Legacy sound features your mentioning according to my sketchy memory.
