Source for 18 volt replacement bulbs for MTH passenger cars

The 18V bulbs are 8352-300X.

The 14V bulbs are 8352-300

The base is a wedge base.

I believe Jeff at The Train Tender has them.

I have a couple of Union Pacific Pullmans and a Santa Fe diner that still use the old-fashioned 18 volt incandescent bulbs. But I found that it was better to replace the 18 volt ones with 24 volt, for a softer interior lighting effect to match the newer LED lit cars in the trains. The 24 volt ones also seem to last longer than the 18s. Problem is, I can't find the source where I got them.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. The effect I want is what Vern is showing and I suspect that 24 volt bulbs are the way to go if I want them to last. The replacement bulbs I need are the ones listed at the Train Tender as 8352-18X. So I'll buy a bunch of those for now. And it seems like I need to order a couple of the LED lighting kits from Hennings for good measure.'

I ordered drop-in replacement LED bulbs from BULBTOWN a few years ago. Their website is under construction and is currently offline. They have reverse polarity protection built in and work between 8 to 24 volts.  If you are looking for quick and easy, they work but are not flicker-free so keep your wheels and pickup roller clean to minimize that.  I want to say a 50-pack was around $20. They had a nice natural white light, not cool blue or yellow warm.

Their website appears to be functional, but would you happen to know which bulbs you are referring to?
