Looking for a good source for LEDs. I really like the the 3mm White LEDs that MTH includes with their upgrade kit as they look like a true headlight. I'd suspect that the color temp is around 4000K to 5000K.
Also, this one is a long shot, does anyone have a source for a white 3mm LED that operates at 1.5 volts?

As JOE stated above LIGHTHOUSE LEDs!!!! They run specials every so often too.
Dave at Evan Design has been a tremendous help to us. LEDs are not created equal and we have found that his last and last. He usually guarantees his product for a year.
One thing is worse than a slightly more expensive LED... a LED that is in a difficult place to get to that burns out. We don’t seem to have any that are easy to replace and have never had to replace one of Dave’s.
