The Queen of Southern Steam, Southern Railway 4501, leads a southbound dead head move to Atlanta GA, and then on to Macon, for staging for it's next series of excursions for the 21st Century Steam Program.
This was 4501's first passage through Dalton since the 90's.
When the train began to pass through town, the pusher diesels backed off to let the 01 to more of the pulling in order to give the people a good show of steam working!
