Another great use of a beautiful old station......anyone who drives through Richmond VA on I-95 has passed within feet of Main Street Station.....after a few tries, it has finally surfaced as a successful event space. Our modular group (the River City 3 Railers) set up our 12x15 layout there last night to help ring in the holiday season. Last night was Downtown Richmond's Grand Illumination.

I went there a few times in some of its earlier efforts.  It is a beautiful old station.  However it wasn't a Southern station, but instead was used by Seaboard and Chesapeake & Ohio.  Southern used Hull Street Station south of the James while the ACL and RF&P used Broad Street station.

You are absolutely correct! Sorry, too much egg nog.....or, this is what happens when a New Haven, New York Central, NYO&W fan moves to the south!
