Finally found a Southern SW7 #1100

What I could not understand it’s advertised for O31 curves, while I was pulling one or more cars, they would derail on the curves. Looking and wondering, to make a long story short, the SW7 couplers have a spring that keeps them centered. It’s too strong, keeps too much tension on the adjoining coupler, forcing it back to center.
The solution was to simply remove the spring, problem solved.
At some point I might be able to ease the spring tension, to better utilize the uncouple couple feature. For now it’s fine, I am still working on the layout and if I have to center it up manually not a big deal.
