Great job by Andy Petersen and Scott Mann!!
Checked out fine.
Nice addition to the SP&S stable on the CL&W.

Nice, maybe they'll do the Seaboard Citrus scheme later:
Over in 2 rail land we have discussed how this model is one of the best of the run. I would tend to agree. The PRR units are sharp also. NYC has loads of issues. Those Seaboard units rock! You guys will really go out of your gourd when you see the E4's from Key Model Imports! They are awesome! Working tilt front doors.. and that wild paint scheme! Cool
Erik,
I've always thought the pilot on your first photo resembled a piece of medieval armor
The fold-out door is uber cool, did any other RRs use it?
Kerrigan - do you have a photo of the fireman's side to post? Curious about a few things. I haven't seen any of these in person yet, just the pre-release versions.
Thanks!
I can do that ... in what feature are you interested and I'll try to get a close-up of it.
Thanks! I'm mainly interested in seeing the detail from the nose to back of the filters behind the cab door. Curious to see if the factory caught the grab bars up the fireman's side of the cab.
Thank you! Good to see the grab bars on the fireman's side. This was a fun one to work on with so little prototype info to go off of.
Can anyone post a picture of the underside of the E7. My fuel tank is loose, and I want to see if it should be screwed to the body, and held in place with washers, or if it is just placed in with the screw holes resting atop the screws and washer. Do those 4 screws hold anything together on the inside of the locomotive. Also has anyone put Kadee couplers on a 3 rail version??
Thanks,
Lou
