Jimmy...pricing to manufacture again is prohibitive. It would also require making the all missing straight and curve track components to become a viable product line = more cost...and production minimum quantity would be quite high now even if a factory would make them.

mowingman...these are great switches. Tooling is not lost...just not a good idea. A better idea would be to buy whatever you need now and then a few more because when they are gone...it is a true goodbye.

Susie and the Grandkids, are any of RMT's new items in the Strasburg Railroad roadname? If not this time, might I suggest that some future items be for either the Strasburg Railroad or the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad.

Thanks for considering my suggestion

6 General release roadname items have been listed. There will be more roadnames announced.

Susie, as I've previously expressed in this thread please make one of those TBA roadnames the Strasburg Railroad. Quite a few O Gaugers revere, collect, and run this tourist shortline. Lionel, MTH, Atlas, 3rd Rail Sunset, and Weaver are among the manufacturers who've paid tribute to the mighty railline by offering SRR items and I hope the "new" RMT will do likewise.

RMT,

I ordered two of the 031 switches a week ago (11/3) and no information since letting me know if they shipped.

I also replied to the order confirmation email asking for an update but have not received an answer.

How long does it take to ship and do you email a tracking number when it does?

Let me know.

Thanks.

Mark

Mark...just checked and your package ships probably Monday. It missed the pickup in Friday/yesterday. I will email you with tracking info when it leaves in addition to automatic email. Thanks. Susie

Hi Susie,

Has this shipped yet?  I have not seen an email with tracking information.

Let me know.

Thanks.

Mark

Perhaps Lionel has the exclusive rights to do Strasburg stuff now?

I doubt it, considering MTH had a Strasburg 44 ton switcher in the last catalog (which I also preordered). Not to mention the very limited production Strasburg "Paradise" business car, an MTH premier piece produced for one of the larger Pennsylvania retailers.
