Often when heading into town I find the Finger Lakes Railway dropping off/picking up at the salt plant. Today was different! These guys travel in style - including a port-a-potty! Looks like fun...

That's quite a collection of speeders! That would certainly be a hoot! 
We should get a couple of those.
That Porta-Potty rail trailer is, indeed, a hoot-and-a-half!
Reminds me of an incident at a fast food joint we had stopped at on our drive to Florida years ago. A car (SUV, actually) was towing a 2-wheel utility flatbed trailer to which a Johnny-On-The-spot was lashed at one end. I supposed the guy was towing it to or from a client's location. I was joking with the wife that it was your most basic 'RV' tow.
Well, the owner showed up, overheard us, and commented that, in fact, he sometimes used it as such, even setting up a 2-man tent on the other end of the trailer bed! The tent, bedrolls, grill, provisions, etc. were all safely stowed in the SUV. Using the trailer for the tent, keeping it off the ground, was especially handy for inclement weather and keeping the tent cleaner to stow. He went on and on about the advantages of this most basic camper, finally admitting that the hoots and guffaws were something that not everyone could live through in setting up camp at a park.
A friend of his had the biz of renting the potties. He would sometimes make a local delivery/pickup for the owner. Together they came up with the 'basic camper' concept over a few beers and did it for a few laughs. But it was so much fun, they both would use the idea for a weekend camp-out from time to time.
Re the Speeders, though... I've seen several videos of these groups riding abandoned or shortline-with-permission stretches around the country. It does, indeed, look like it'd be PHUN!...But, maybe not starting out at my age.
Assuming these are NARCOA, they were is this area about a dozen years ago.

My son a friend and I have flagged crossings and ridden several trips around our area even down the middle Schuyler St. in Utica NY the folks have always been friendly and they have been great full for our help. Just real nice people to be around.

I thought all the track was gone in Watkins Glen? Glad to see it still there. I don't know if same line, but the Pennsy went through there on it Elmira Branch that ran from Williamsport in PA to Sodus Point in NY.

That was the track they used on this trip. PRR went up the west side of Seneca Lake and the Lehigh Valley went up the east side of the Lake. Finger Lakes RR now runs on both these branches.
