Edited 5/26/13 11:56am to please those that have pet peeves about picture spacing!

Hi folks, it has been since my April Progress video that I have posted in this section so I thought I would catch up with some recent additions to the layout. I know some frequent the other forums and they may have seen some of the pictures, but for those that haven't - here are a bunch of various shots.

I am moving left to right with structures and scenery, but these pics are in no particular order. These are located on the 24"x 60" section to the right of the mini layout module. The only structure that is not included in these pics is the post office seen in the April Progress video. As a side note, I do update my facebook page often for those that have facebook. My page can be found in my signature. Enjoy!

When you are making the post, the window you are working in is rather small, you can expand it by "grabbing" a corner and pulling it larger (this helps). Then place the cursor at the bottom right corner of the picture and hit enter a couple of times. You have to do this with each picture. It's a bit of a pita but worth it in my opinion.

Joey, absolutely fantastic work!  The quality of your work is above reproach.

Please tell me that your beautiful trackwork is commercial and not hand laid one tie at a time!  I might have missed any description of its construction.

Your track is just perfect for a coal mining tram road with no ballast except fine coal and slate burying the ties.

Keep it coming!

Tony and folks thank you, It's all hand laid code atlas code 83 rail taken from left over flex track. I built the turnouts in a jig and the ties are from Mt Albert lumber with your standard PC board ties at joints and under the turnouts.

Most people think hand laying track is time consuming and hard, but it is not at all.

Turnouts are obviously more work to make, but are well worth the effort.

Joey....your modeling is the best!!  BEAUTIFUL work and so realistic.  Also...I got the same "suggestion" as far as spacing the pictures when I first started posting and while it does help separate each picture, it is no big deal so don't worry about it.

You are going to make me want to add on to the layout to do some narrow gauge....!!

Alan
