I have 2 of these engines. One of them has a squeak/chirp in the rear motor. I know it is coming from the motor. I have removed the truck and spun the motor by hand when the engine is off the track. I have also removed the motor and hooked it up to a 9 volt battery and it squeaks then also. I actually replaced the motor and after 10 hours the new one started squeaking too! If I put a drop of oil on the bottom of the motor by the drive gear the squeak goes away for about 2 hours of run time. Then it comes back. I love these engines but I'm tired of working on it. Im going to try a heavier weight oil. Any ideas what oil or lubricant I should use?
