Standard Gauge at York!!
IF you are going to York, don't forget that SGMA will have a large, sceniced layout in Black Hall, with set up on Weds starting at noon, some 'test time' in the morning on Thursday prior to the halls opening, and then during member hall hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Friday morning is the now traditional SGMA Show and Tell with coffee and donuts provided by the group. Also in the Black Hall, we will have plenty of chairs and tables.
Those attending are strongly encouraged to bring along one or more of your favorite standard gauge trains, whether commercially built, from one of the modern era builders, home made or made by you.
For those that want to run, we will prioritize the members with modules first, but always have time open during the day for you to put your trains on the track and give them a good run, just be aware that that time may not be 'now', unless one of us (like me) gives us some of his track time.
We had a FABULOUS time at Spring York and expect this time to be even better - come join the fun and please come around, introduce yourself and say hi.
