Nice looking engine.
That's great news!
It was a little disappointing to visit "Steam"town when they had no steam! Enjoy our visits there regardless!

Very nice, I love that Baldwin green they painted her up in. What did this take?...17-18 years to complete? At any rate it's good to see steam back at Steam town.
It's 17 or so years but what they have is basically a brand new, blueprinted engine. This means that the shop crew, which is already stretched thin, will not be wasting hours and days chasing problems on the 26 like they did on 2317 and 3254. This in turn will allow reliable interpretive steam on-site and hopefully they can really sink their teeth into the 3713 without interruption. The LWVRHS, which has been the main fundraising group on the 3713, had been stockpiling parts so, with any luck, a consistent labor effort will produce good, steady progress.
Really cool. Can't wait to see it up close.
There have been quite a few upgrades that will make it easier to operate. I can't wait to see it on the Carbondale Main.

Amen to that. Bring on 3713
Steam ...at Steamtown. What a novel idea !
What RR originally owned that 0-6-0, or was it a Baldwin shop engine?

It was the Baldwin Locomotive Works plant switcher.
