We're heading to PA this weekend, and hitting Steamtown on Sunday.
Any place that I shouldn't miss while in Scranton, Wilkes-Barre or the surrounding area?

My experience was that Steamtown could be done, and enjoyed, in about half a day. If you have time, the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and the Strasburg RR can be seen in Strasburg, PA, but those take nearly a full day or more to enjoy fully, weather permitting.

Coney Island Lunch right next door to Scranton Hobby. Superb chili dogs!
While at Coney Island for "dogs" and the Scranton Hobby Shop next door, why not walk a block to the Radisson Hotel in the Lackawanna Station. The main dining room and lobby are in the the original waiting room and worth visiting. You can get a first class lunch there if you desire.
I'm not sure of the hours, but there is a great HO layout in the mall next to Steamtown with many scratch built structures of Scranton's past and the present.
You can always chase an all Alco D-L train if you catch one in the Steamtown yard.
Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour is in McDadePark, but unfortunately it looks like the car is being repaired at this time. I would recommend the Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct about 30 minutes north in Nicholson. There is a nice little eatery (Bridgeview Restaurant) next to it.
If you are coming to PA this weekend. You might want to get a ride on the Project 113 Easter Bunny express. The CNJ 113 0-6-0 will be a part of the excrusion train this weekend on Saturday March 28th. Train ride times are 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. There are still tickets available at the train station on Sunbury street in Minersville, PA. Come and see one of the last Jersey Central steam engines in the US.
