That "big guy" is Bob Krieger, retired Engineer from the UP, and the UP Steam Team. He is the first Guy I fired for, when Steve Lee asked me to go on long trips with the Steam Team, sometime back in the early 1990s.

Well, any REAL professional RR Engineer doesn't "enjoy himself" after running engines, ESPECIALLY steam, for 40 some odd years. In Steve's case, it was really tuff to retire. At least he still has his Ford Mustang collection to work with, and take to shows.
I can only imagine how hard it was..there definetly was alot of work/stress for him over the years but it sure seemed that there were alot of good times as well, and good friends made along the way. It's good he has the time now to enjoy his cars, and what ever else comes his way.
