Still no luck with dcs app lash ups

I just had some time to play with the app and checkout "lashup".

I am using an iphone 12 pro with ios 14.5 beta 5 and the app is working.  My TIU is 6.1 and the wifi has firmware 1.1.  I had no trouble creating or running a lashup of two PS2 locomotives.  This also works on my ipad with ios 14.5. beta 5.  If you have any version greater than 12 is should work.

Android should be working as well.  You do need to make sure that your TIU software is 6.1.  You also need to make sure the firmware on your DCS wifi is 1.1.

To be honest i didnt know about the needing upgraded. I thought was either connecting engines wrong. Or wiring was wrong. i hqve ordered the cables i need to upgrade my tiu to 6.1. And downloaded the premium app already once they arrive i will attempt upgrade and give it a shot

Anyone selling a newer tiu with 6.1 on it.  Man this is frustrating just not going my way

A new TIU probably won't help.  The error message that you're getting indicates that there's a connection problem with the PC you're using to do the upgrade.

What sort of cable do you have connected between the PC and the TIU?  Is it a serial cable (needed with older models of TIU), or a USB cable (needed for newer ones)?

Mike is correct; this is a computer issue.  If you are using a USB to serial cable, make sure your drivers are up to date and, if one was provided, install any driver unique to the cable.
