Yet another year ends and no manufacture has produced a McKeen Motorcar. MTH cancelled their planned production about 3 years ago and in spite of frequent requests on this forum, no one has moved to fill this gap. I would love to see a McKeen motorcar and trailer produced in O scale, tinplate, and standard gauge.
Who else in in for one?

If it isn't too expensive I would get one. They have a true "Buck Rogers" look! It's still hard to believe they were built, even after seeing a restored one on TV recently.
I am in contact with a man in central California who is working on a C.A.D. file of the McKeen Motor Car both in 70' and 55' versions. I my self have the website www.McKeenCar.com and hope to restore a 55' McKeen Motor Car that ran in San Diego County. I am building a McKeen Car in O scale, and sense the roof would be a huge challenge, I am going to have it printed to fit my model. Last he said the files will be free, and most liked posted on my website(when he gets them done), but I will email him again about the progress.
