Hi all, I am no stranger to the wiring of a 402E or 408E however I purchased a restoration project on eBay that has a different wiring system than I'm usually used to.  Instead of the frame mounted wiring contact plate that I'm used to, it has an extra level of connections on the top of the pendulum reverse.  I've never seen this before and it's throwing me for a loop.  Can anyone tell me how both motors are wired on this thing?  Posting pics.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.IMG_6442IMG_6421

That is a standard pendulum reverse unit.  The added terminals allow you to connect the wires to each motor under a single screw, instead of doubling up two wires under one screw.  Note that the bottom row of screws have a jumper going to the terminals at the top and the middle row have wings added to them to add another set of terminals.

The bottom row of terminals (now moved to the top via jumpers) are for the brushes, the left middle terminal is the center rail pickup and hot lead to the pendulum coil, the right terminal to the field coil.

The two vertical terminals on the side are for directional headlights.
