Went to Strasburg this weekend, good crowds on hand. Rode in the Presidents Car, Reading Number 10. Nice ride with drink service and working bathroom. Got off at Groff's Grove for lunch. The days when they run 2 trains it is cool, out in the country watching cows and listening to 2 different steam whistles of engine 90 and 475. The grove also has banks to stand on you video guys to get up higher than ground level for shooting video.
A trip to the Strasburg Scenic Railroad is always a fun time. My wife and I have made this trip many times and will do so again this fall.
I've never gotten off the train at Groff's Grove as we always have either lunch or dinner when riding the train. Of course we always include a visit to the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum and the Toy Train Museum whenever we go to Strasburg.
