Very nice photos. I have been to Strasburg RR many times, I don't have any photos close to as nice as yours. Very good composition on the photos. Thanks for posting, I enjoyed them.

I see the mini live steam track is laid along the highway and station, what are they running!
THE 16" Gauge steam line has been extended all the way to the J Tower. It does not go across the highway. In addition to the #3 4-4-0 (anthracite fired if I'm not mistaken), the railroad recently purchased another coal fired 4-4-0 and it being worked on. They also purchased at least one freight car for a "mixed train".
Without a pit rail? Better not try that with a real standard gauge, or even a 3 foot gauge, turntable.
I live 40 minutes from Strasburg and have been there many, many times and it is a great day out.
Hope you stopped at the Pennsy museum across the street, one of the great sights in the area. Say hi to GG1 4800 outside in the yard. Hope it gets a cosmetic restoration soon.
I agree the museum is fantastic along with Strasburg. They have a great system there. The GG1 in person is unreal. Far cry from the Lionel version I am used to!!

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Any Strasburg is great! Terry
If I had plenty of money (possible only in my dreams, of course), I would have a second home in the Strasburg area...and a third home in the Ashville, NC area.

I agree with you Allan! Every time we visit my in-laws in NJ I make the trip to Strasburg.
Great photos! Thanks for posting them!
Like so many of us here, I've spent a lot of time in that area.
