Since MTH never released the RailKing NJT Streamlined I'm left doing some modifying with vinyl.

I've concluded the New York Central is the closest to modify easily.

My question is if anyone has done this already or has an MTH RailKing E8 on hand as well as any MTH RailKing Amtrak, Southern, Santa Fe or any others you can think of that have a similar silver/gray color as well as black wheel housings and which you think matches closest.
There aren't many shops close to me so I ordered a cheap NYC coach and worst case is I can get my money back in trade for the track I still need to buy if the tone doesn't match but in the event it doesn't I'm curious what any advice would be for the next option.
