I have some bright white led strip. Can you paint them like led bulbs to make them more like a warm white? If so, what type paint do you use?

Thanks. I ordered the warm white but the ones delivered were definitely cool white. I'll get the paint
Painting them is somewhat of a PITA, I just find the proper color temperature ones.
I buy 5 meter reels on Aliexpress.com for two to three dollars. If that particular vendor doesn't have the right color, I order from a different one. Once I find one I like, I make a quantity buy.
Sometimes you have no choice as the LEDs are pre-installed. I'm going to pickup a jar and see how it does to tone down my menards buildings.
I agree John. I ordered warm white but received the cool white. They gave me credit and I can keep them, so was trying to find a way to use.

Once again, in the FWIW category, here are a couple of pics of my Menards buildings painted with Tamiya X26 clear orange. Watkins building at the end for comparison. Matches the Woodland Scenics building that's as delivered, second from left. Painting takes about three seconds per strip. Course you have to open that pesky bottle. YMMV.
Edit: Found a photo of the Watkins building after tinting second floor lighting, but leaving "fluorescent" look on first floor grocery store and Watkin's store fronts. For comparison. I should note, for my taste, the Menards buildings are always too bright, so I power them ~ 3vdc instead of the 4.5vdc Menards recommends.
One of my favorite Menards buildings is the Cripple Cr lumberyard, but the lights are way too bright. It would be a big pain to take it apart to paint the inside ones, so its on a buck converter to tone down the lights to something a bit more realistic. Simple fix.
Ted your building light treatment looks pretty darn good. Nice work.
And Hokie 71, that car lighting looks great too!
