No Death-Con *5* for this Submarine, simply smooth sailing next to the RR tracks & trains! OMG... first time I've ever seen a submarine on one of TW TrainWorx custom layouts - always a first for everything!

Roger was able to find this GI Joe Submarine (recognize it fellas?) on Ebay and the Traingineers are modifying the heck out of it - like cutting in half, making new doors and bonus - rumor is the buttons are going to work! Every day - more Traintastic fun each time I walk out into the Dallas Studio

Check it out:

Cool, but too late to be recognized. My GI Joes were from the larger scale era and that full sized sub would have been a monster. I have shots of the earlier "Sea Wolf" but no attachment tool today. (All kinds of Android glitches today... I keep getting a "find in page" menu that doesn't work and won't go away too. It blocks 1/4 of the text screen..but no updates yet) Another thing you might watch for are the scuba tanks for the bigger Joes. They're perfect as large industrial tanks for propane, etc..(no idea on value) They fit cleanly on their side in the bay of an emergency/rescue work caboose. Ship modeling is a good source for stanchions for handrails and such as well.

Very cool. The Providence & Worcester RR ( I don't acknowledge the acquisition) runs a daily out & back that goes right next to the Groton Sub base in CT. The Nautilus is also a floating museum at this location.

Train Dame - thanks for sharing those pics.

My pleasure Have a Traintastic weekend!
