This is a perfect example of Crowdstack changing something just for the sake of changing something.
What is the logic for this change? What was wrong with the old "Follow This Topic" button?
We'll never know.
I guess they went to the same school as Microsoft.
Yea- the mysterious "bell" appeared yesterday.
Guess the system engineers are bored and are messing around with our heads.
I just figured out what that bell was for.
That explains it
I think there are too many tinkerers at CrowdStack and not enough people with common sense.
Don't fix stuff that ain't broke!
What Bell?
Turn off your ad blocker.
GRJ I don’t have one on this iPad or so I think I do! But I just found the bell.
I think some of the Crowdstack folks have bats in their "Bell"fry...LOL!!
Well they don't have a bell in the belfry cause it's on here now. lol
Compared to the other forums I'm on, this one could use a actual "improvement"...namely when you hold your arrow/cursor over a thread, you see the first sentences of the person who started it. By doing that, a old OGR classic like "My best friend just died" is quickly seen to be talking about a pet.
Well...the bell is kind of railroad engine sounds to invoke awareness, eh?
And what was wrong with the little "Like" hearts that were unfilled unless you "Liked" the post/reply? The original was intuitive, now you must "unLike" in order to see if you "Liked" and then "reLike" in order to ensure registration of your "Liking". Oof da!
I don't "Like" this! How about withholding payment to Crowdstack until they restore the features we all "Liked" and quit fooling around making unauthorized modifications. Let's see if they "Like" that!
Harrumph!
It's goofball stuff like this that makes you wonder. How about adding features that really mean something instead of rearranging chairs on the deck of the Titanic!

But the successfully got you to click through that to do it, right?
It's all about the clicks on the interwebs these days......

Such as?
Maybe we should all withhold our payment to OGR for the use of the forum. That should really get things movin'.
Just hovering over the heart shows who "Liked", no need to "Unlike on my computer.

What Bell?
My thoughts also.

OOOOPs, just found it.
