Are passengers backing up on your subway platforms? Do you need to add an extra local or express to take care of the overflow? Maybe you need a game day special to take the edge off the crowds. We've got you've covered...we've just received several sets fresh off lease from the MTA. Despite service to Long Island and the Big Apple, these units have surprisingly little wear. All are in excellent condition and most include all original packaging - some even the outer packing box. Here's a list of what we have:
Lionel 30147 MTA Long Island Railroad M-7 Commuter, Ready to Run with 1 powered, 3 unpowered, oval of track, transformer, figures and signs. Like new in box with all packaging and outside packing box. (Asking $300)
Lionel 30085 MTA 25th Anniversary M-7 Commuter, Ready to Run with 1 powered, 3 unpowered, oval of track, transformer, figures and signs. Like new in box with all packaging and outside packing box. (Asking $400)
MTH RailKing R-17 six car blue gray subway set with graffiti (I believe the graffiti or at least some of it are added decals). Features LocoSounds...no box but with instructions. (Asking $400)
MTH RailKing R-26 six car green Brooklyn subway set. Features LocoSounds...no box but with instructions. (Asking $400)
MTH RailKing 30-2448-1 four car Lo-V Metropolitan Interborough Red subway set. Features ProtoSound 2. Comes with all original packaging including outer packing box. (Asking $400) We also have the add-on two pack for this set, including all original packaging (Asking $150 or $100 if purchased with the base set.)
Do you have a full schedule running on your subway or elevated line and just need to add a couple of cars to existing trains? No problem...we've also got a few two car add on packs:
Lionel 35174 Long Island Railroad two car add on pack - includes all packaging including outer packing box. (Asking $125)
Lionel 35133 MTA Metro North M7 Commuter train two car add on pack - includes all packaging including outer packing box (we have two of these in stock) (Asking $125)
After clearing all these trains out of the MTA yards, we were amazed to discover that at some point the MTA had also purchased a Big Boy and a Southern Pacific Cab Forward. (We think maybe there were thinking of starting some type of excursion line.) Here are the specs...
MTH Railking Union Pacific Big Boy 30-1129-1 Cab #2020....PS1. This unit is in excellent condition and comes with all original packaging. Features dual motors and runs on O31 curves despite it's size. (Asking $350)
Sunset 3rd Rail Southern Pacific Cab Forward Solid Brass [Project Piece - for parts or repair]. This unit needs a little help....two of the steam pipes are broken off and the front boiler plate is loose. There is also some type of electrical issue - it immediately shorts out when tested. It'll take some work to get back into service but a chance to pick up a really well engineered unit at half the regular price. (Asking $500)
If your'e interested in any of the above, I'll be at the shop until 5 or 6pm today and 9 to 1 or 2pm tomorrow....just call 856-393-8712. Outside of those hours either respond to the thread or shoot me an email.
