Coach Joe,

I made the model for forum member Al Zuckerman (cape cod northern). He used his wife's maiden name for it. I came up with the steel emblem. That is also the emblem the Pittsburgh Steelers use. I also constructed him a model of a sugar plant to go with the revere sugar hopper car he had. It had great fun working with Al on this.

Frank,

Thank you very much for such a nice compliment. You are another form member that I have always enjoyed working with.

Bar,

A town the size of Shark Bay would have to have a steel fabricator or supplier.

Nothing to do with Scenery or Structures but nice anyway. As most members know our (Bradshaw Mountain HiRailers) club runs 6 small layouts in the Prescott Mall once a month plus special holidays. We have a free raffle every Christmas. This years winner was an 8 year from Prescott.

Mark and Marlin are posing with the winner. Can't see me. I'm in the corner somewhere snoozing.

I painted my old Walters Cornerstone B/U Station.  It was a bear to get apart.

Hey Dave,

I keep looking at this town scene and I am mesmerized by it. Can you share how you created the "hill scene"? I really like how it lies against the buildings on both sides of the road and covers the lower front half of them. This is truly reminiscent of many northern towns I grew up near.

Dave,

Check out the progress on the Mercer Junction Facebook Page.  https://www.facebook.com/Merce...ion-189814194542538/

I have quite a few photos showing the foam base construction.
